Documented production readiness

An integrated production flow

Upstream processing uses a bioreactor system with capacity of 20 L, up scaling to 200 L. Harvesting and purification involve a 200 L harvesting tank, two 200 L mobile tanks, a separator, and an ultrafiltration machine.

Bulk antigen is stored in five coldrooms (sterile area) with a total area of 250 m³ and an effective storage area of 100,000 litres — documented as equivalent to 200,000,000 doses.

Formulation uses six mobile tanks of 200 litres each, with a total effective process capacity of 1,200 litres — documented as equivalent to 2,400,000 doses.

Fill-finish

Filling, capping, inspection, labelling, packaging

The fill-finish line includes a filling machine with capacity of 15,000 vials per hour at 5 ml per vial, operated up to 16 hours per day. Documented daily output is 240,000 vials per day — equivalent to 1,200 litres of formula, or 2,400,000 doses per day.

Supporting systems include a vial washing and dry heat sterilization machine with capacity of 20,000 vials per hour, and dedicated capping and labelling machines.
